We have blue-faced honeyeaters in this area, this bird appears to be a young male, HOWEVER around the eye was bright yellow - not red. Feather, hood colouring all correct, except for the eye skin. It almost has the same eye colour as a regent honeyeater! Definitely not red, but this was as close to an ID as I could get for this bird.
